How to reach Xanthi Directions:

• By plane: 1 hour flight from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos to Kavala International Airport Megas Alexandros. Flights are conducted twice a day by Olympic Airlines and once a day by Aegean Airlines. One can reach Xanthi from Kavala International Airport Megas Alexandros (a distance of about 30 Km) by taxi or by Bus from Xrisoupoli Bus Station.
• By train: Regular itineraries from Athens and Thessaloniki to Xanthi. Information is available at the Hellenic Railways Organisation (OSE) website.
• By bus: It takes about 10 hours to reach Xanthi from Athens by bus. Equivalent duration is about 3.5 hours from Thessaloniki. Service is available twice a day from/to Thessaloniki. Information is available at the Greek Bus Operators (KTEL) website.
